1. ZWCAD Viewer is a good freeware that can be used to view DWG files on MAC for free. Here you can choose to open D WG, DXF, DWF, and DWT files. There are different viewing options to help you clearly view DWG files.
2. I have existing AutoCad files.dwg extensions that I need to open on my Mac. I saved all these files from my Windows based system, but now need to open them and alter. Looking for a Cad application for Mac that will open these files and let me make changes and save.

Microspot DWG Viewer for Mac. Microspot DWG Viewer is a product based on Microspot MacDraft Professional which enables AutoCAD files produced on a PC to be opened and viewed on Apple Macintosh Computers.

There are new Autodesk products (AutoCAD LT or similar) for Mac OS and iOS, but I couldn't find a simple free DWG viewer for Mac.

AutoCAD WS is a free app on the Mac App Store. I've never tried it.

A360 Viewer

The free eDrawings Viewer for Mac claims to be able to read and display DWG files. The Microspot DWG Viewer also provides support for DWG files.

I don't have any DWG files to test these two products on at the moment, but they're worth a shot.

I did try the eDrawings Viewer for Mac but it doesn't allow do measurements and printing is not great neither.I finally found viewer which has all what I was looking for - ZWCAD Viewer. Get it from 'cnet.com' as I couldn't find it on the ZWSOFT home page.
